ADVERTISEMENT FOR A/E REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Pursuant to Alabama Act No. 2001-956, Auburn University seeks proposals from qualified professionals licensed in the State of Alabama to consult with the University in the development of facility program requirements in addition to, the provision of basic consulting services for various projects for Auburn University Facilities Management. 

Qualification:  Applicants will be selected on the basis of professional qualifications and successful experience with similar engagements. Applicant firms must clearly demonstrate a considerable body of successful experience with similar or closely-related facility types.  Skill and experience in analyzing requirements, related unique and special components and documenting facility requirements.  Applicants must demonstrate success in delivering services in a functional, economical and effective manner.   Applicants must provide documented success in construction cost management, thorough, accurate and timely services and document production. 

Project Description:  Projects varying in size and complexity and duration which Auburn University will be executing for the next three (3) years.

Project Size will vary from $10,000.00 to $25,000,000.00 Construction Cost. 

For the most part projects will be located on the Auburn University Main Campus in Auburn, Alabama. 

Response:  Interested firms must complete Standard Form 254 provided by Auburn University.   The form is located on the web at:

Forms must be submitted electronically no later than 4:00 PM CST, on or before Wednesday, February 29, 2012.  

No other information such as firm marketing documents will be accepted at this time. 

In selecting the most qualified firm, Auburn University will be guided by the Manual of Procedures, 2001 Edition, prepared by the Alabama Building Commission.
